Nei pressi di Massa c'è il lago dell'Accesa e la circostante area archeologica risalente alla metà del VI secolo a.C.

Da vedere, proseguendo la strada che porta all'agriturismo, il Centro europeo Carapax, per la salvaguardia delle tartarughe e centro cicogne .

The farm ’Il Vecchio Imposto’ is situated in the outskirts of the ancient city of Massa Marittima on the hills of North Meremma in Tuscany. An antique stone building, renovated with care and attention by the owners.
Il Vecchio Imposto is 15 km from the sea with the beaches of Follonica and Punta Ala and from here It Is easy to reach Siena, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano and Vetulonia - the latter being one of the most antique cities in Etruria.

Der Agriturismus ’Il Vecchio Imposto’ liegt an den Hängen der historischen Stadt Massa Marittima in der nördlichen toskanischen Maremma, in einem alten Natursteinbauernhaus, das mit Sorgfalt und Geschmack von den Besitzern restauriert wurde.
Il Vecchio Imposto befindet sich 15 km vom Meer entfernt, mit den Stränden von Follonica sowie Punta Ala, und Siena, Florenz, Volterra, San Gimignano und Vetulonia, eine der ältesten Städte Etruriens, sind bequem zu erreichen.
In der Umgebung von Massa befindet sich der Accesa-See und die dazu gehörende archäologische Zone, welche auf die Mitte des VI. Jahrhunderts v.Ch. zurückgeht.
An der Strasse, welche zum Agriturismus führt, kann das europäische Zentrum Carapax besucht werden, wo geschützt Schildkröten und Störche leben.
