L' Azienda Agrituristica L'ANTICA SOSTA, situata nella zona collinare della Maremma Toscana, era già nei primi del '900 utilizzata per la sosta dei viandanti che facevano la spola dalle zone pianeggianti e paludose vicine al mare, alla zona collinare e montana. Le note dominanti di queste colline sono il verde intenso in primavera e il giallo dorato in estate, interrotte qua e la da oliveti e vigneti ma soprattutto da boschi di querce e ornelli dove insistono allevamenti di ovini e bovini. In questo variopinto scenario, sorgono molte Necropoli Etrusche, una fra le più importanti vicino all'Azienda è "STATONIA" ( Km 5 ) e a circa 18 Km le necropoli di Pitigliano - Sorano - -Sovana e scendendo verso il mare si può seguire l'itinerario di Vulci e Tarquinia. Per la sua posizione centrale, l'azienda dista dalle TERME DI SATURNIA - zona termale di notevole interesse- circa 10 minuti di macchina e dal lago di Bolsena - affascinante lago di origine vulcanica circondato da paesi di origine romana- circa 40 Km.


Soggiornare nell’Azienda significa vivere nella quiete della natura con i suoi molteplici panorami dove gli ospiti possono effettuare trekking a piedi e mountain-bike seguendo sentieri limitrofi alla stessa. Trattasi di tipica costruzione rurale costituita da due strutture le cui camere tutte con bagno (anche a norma per handicappati), riscaldamento, TV e corredate da cucina, giardino con sdraio, tavoli e sedie, e parcheggio auto. L’azienda si estende su una superficie di 20 ettari a conduzione familiare con la produzione di cereali, vigneto, oliveto e allevamento di ovini e cavalli. Gli ospiti possono partecipare alla vita aziendale soprattutto nel periodo di raccolta di olive e dell’uva ed assistere alla trasformazione del latte in formaggio pecorino. Attualmente l'azienda ha creato un ambiente in cui l'ospite si sente ospite nel vero senso della parola con la realizzazione di una piccola attività di ristorazione e degustazione dei prodotti tipici locali legata alla cantina e al territorio. Staying for some days in the farm means living in a wonderful quiet nature.



Here, our guests can do different sports, such as the trekking and the mountain - bike.



It is a typical rural building made of two structures whose rooms are all supplied with bathroom, heating, TV, kitchen and also... Garden with deck-chairs, tables, chairs and car park.The farm is about 20 hectares. It is a family business. We produce cereals, vineyards, olive groves and breed ovines and horses. Our guests can take part in the farm activities, i.e. During the harvest time. They can also take part in the production of the sheep's cheese.



The farm L'ANTICA SOSTA is situated on a hilly area in the Tuscan Maremma.In the early years of the 20th century, the wayfarers used to stop here to get their breath back. These hills are green in spring and golden yellow in summer.There are lots of olive groves, vineyards, oaks and manna ash's woods.Inside the mountains our ovines and bovines pasture all over here.



You can find many Etruscan necropolis in this colourful place."STATONIA" is one of the most important; it is 5 Km far away from the farm.Eighteen kilometers far away from the farm, you can find other necropolis in Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Vulci and Tarquinia.The farm is about 10 minutes car from the TERME DI SATURNIA (a very important spa) and 40 Km from the Bolsena Lake, which is a wonderful volcanic lake. All around the lake there are lots of countries that are historically very important.



Today our enterprise has created an environment where guests will feel at home in the real sense of the word. We have set up an inviting restaurant activity where visitors can try typical local products from our wine cellar and the territory. Our guests can also follow cooking courses and take part in other traditional artisan activities. It is 120 Km far away from Manciano, 40 Km from the sea, 50 Km from the skiing resort, 20 Km from the riding ground, 150 Km from the Fiumicino Airport. A Hundred fifty animals can be admitted, but only after making arrangements with us.

Das Landgut ’Azienda Agrituristica L’Antica Sosta’ liegt in der huegeligen Landschaft der Maremma Toskana. Dieser wurde bereits anfangs des 1900 Jahrhunderts von den Wanderern benutzt , welche zwischen den flachen und sumpfigen Gebiete neben dem Meer und dem huegeligen und bergigen hin und her pendelten. Die dominierenden Noten dieser Huegel sind: das intensive Gruen im Fruehling und das goldige Gelb im Sommer. Diese sind unterbrochen hier und da von Olivenhaine und Weinberge und vorallem mit Eschen und Eichen Waelder wo die Vieh - und Schafzuchten bestehen.



In der Azienda zu beherbergen heisst die Stille der Natur mit seinen vielfaeltigen Panormas zu erleben, wo die Gaeste Fusswanderugen und Mountain bikes Wege direkt neben dem Haus benuetzen koennen. Es ist eine laendliche typische Architektur. Sie besteht aus zwei Haeuser. Alle Zimmer mit Bad (auch fuer Handikap zugaenglich), Zentralheizung, Satelittenfernseher, Kuechenbereich, Garten mit Liegestuehle und Tische mit Stuehlen. ein Parkplatz.



Das Landgut dehnt sich aus auf eine Flaeche von 20 ha. Die Familienleitung produziert Getreide , Wein, Olivenoel, betreibt Schaf und Pferdezucht.



Die Gaeste koennen waehrend den Landgutarbeiten mitmachen, vorallem bei der Oliven und Traubenernte und der Milchverarbeitung des ’Pecorino Kaeses’.



Das Landgut bietet ein Ambiente wo der Gast, sich Gast im wahren Sinne des Wortes fuehlt. Es wurde ein kleines Restaurant gestaltet, wo man die typischen lokalen Produkte und Weine ausprobieren kann. Es werden auch Koch - und traditionelle Handarbeitetskurse angeboten.



Das Dorf Manciano liegt 1.2km, das Meer 40km und das Skigebiet ’Monte Amiata’ 50km entfernt.



Reitzentrum 20km. Der Flughafen ’Roma -Leonardo da Vinci- Fiumicino’ liegt 150km entfernt.



Tiere koennen nach vorherigen Vereinbarung angenommen werden.
